Chemical Composition: 30CrMo typically contains 0.26–0.34% carbon (C), 0.17–0.37% silicon (Si), 0.40–0.70% manganese (Mn), 0.80–1.10% chromium (Cr), and 0.15–0.25% molybdenum (Mo). 35CrMo typically contains 0.32–0.40% carbon (C), 0.17–0.37% silicon (Si), 0.40–0.70% manganese (Mn), 0.80–1.10% chromium (Cr), and 0.15–0.25% molybdenum (Mo). 42CrMo typically contains 0.38–0.45% carbon (C), 0.17–0.37% silicon (Si), 0.50–0.80% manganese (Mn), 0.90–1.20% chromium (Cr), and 0.15–0.25% molybdenum (Mo).

Mechanical Properties: 30CrMo offers a good balance of strength, toughness, and hardenability, making it suitable for medium- to high-strength mechanical components. 35CrMo provides higher strength and excellent fatigue resistance, particularly after quenching and tempering. 42CrMo delivers high strength, toughness, and wear resistance, making it suitable for components subjected to heavy loads and demanding operating conditions.
